Let’s ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom Renee, and then let’s share what God shows us. I like what you taught Shand about looking for the angels. That is a fantastic and foundational starting point for her faith. She learns that God is always with her and that God sends His angels. Let’s teach them that in every temptation there is an escape….look for it. In every crisis and fear Jesus is there….look for Him. We can start by teaching them to look. Next to ask for God’s wisdom.

It’s crazy to see how my boy’s eyes light up with excitement and wonder if you ask them to describe the powers of Spyro the Dragon or other video game/animated characters and then see the blank, dull expressions when you ask them to describe or explain God’s power. The blame for that doesn’t fall on the church, it falls on me.
I’ve got to dress them in armor and teach them to get wisdom from the Holy Spirit. I write these blogs as God is dealing with me…
Love you too, lady!! We continue to pray for you and your family!

I believe one of the enemy’s greatest weapons is complacency (defined as a feeling of quiet pleasure or security, often while unaware of some potential danger, defect, or the like;)…we begin to feel so comfortable in our Christian “bubble” that we don’t notice the war raging right outside our door.

I think you should write a new sort of children’s book of rival what’s out there now.

Love you!

And liking the book… “here comes heaven”
