“Once I discovered the presence of God in worship,
I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life in that place … “
My husband Jamin and I have been married for 23 years and we have four children ages 15-22. We are a commercial fishing family here in Alaska, which means our work is seasonal. Some days I am on top of the world, and other days I am at the bottom of the laundry pile.
My own testimony spans the chasm of growing up in a broken, abusive home and finding my “home” in Jesus. It celebrates restoration, redemption, intimate fellowship with the Holy Spirit, healing, miracles, and joy without measure. It journeys through burnt lasagna, frozen pipes, and desperate needs, while winding through the infinite grace and compassion of God who redeems and restores all of the broken pieces.
I teach Apologetics at the local Bible School in Homer called “Alaska Bible Institute” www.alaskabible.org and I teach and lead worship for churches and conferences nationally and internationally. I am a singer, songwriter, worship leader, revivalist, teacher, mother, wife, friend, and fisherman!
