I’m stoked about the prayer ministry at your church!! Get SOZO’d!!
I want to be a Jonah too most days. Sometimes I need to outsource a “Paul” to speak to me about God’s faithfulness. I keep a contact list of those who will pray for me and speak into my life.
I have to say that there is nothing more miserable and disheartening than encountering a storm with a Jonah. I find myself surprised at how my heart wants the Jonahs to get up out of their “me” bunks and begin praying.
The Holy Spirit reminds me that I have that privilege, and if I can’t get out of my bunk, I need someone to pray me out. Or boot me out as the case may be 🙂
